Just wanted to know what people think.

I am starting to think it was a big meat & greet - so to speak.

I understand the annual pride parade (I'm straight and live in Chicago), but holding a separate event around athletic competition and branding it as "Gay"? It seems to exclude heterosexual participation, even if technically, straight folks were eligible to compete.

And then I have to admit - hey, so what? It's just a reason for a bunch of folks in the community to get together and hook up. What do I care that they happen to be gay? If it generates revenue for the city, doesn't discriminate, and no one gets hurt, then I'm not going to badmouth it.

On with the games!

I think that if we host a Straight Games that the gay people would piss and moan about it and the courts would say that it is discrimination.

That depends, do I have to go, watch, OR pay to support it? If not, then let them have their games.
