I would say the Pacific side. There's no Hurricanes and the temp is pretty steady around So Cal. I've done the east coast and can't deal with the humidity or storms.

I live in Providence, RI and I love it... not as expensive as Boston. I am 22 and I have found lots to do... plenty of shopping, bars, clubs, beaches, etc.
