You didn't give to much info, but it's enough.
first run your scan disk c:\ in accessories, system tools, same place as your defragmenter.
make sure your bin got emptied.
turn off any programs that are running.
Turn off your pc and wait for 1 minute(This gives it time to collect info thats spread all over your hard drive) It makes it easier and faster for the defragmenter to do it's job.
Turn on pc and go right to defrag and start it.
I have the Diskeep 10 home edition I think it's great you can defrag your boot time too plus the support is great.
I defrag almost every day,it doesn't have to work as hard and is quicker.
If you haven't done yours the first time might take awhile.
The newest info is it should be done daily, but some might disagree.if you understand what it does it just makes sence.
Good luck

yea just click on start> all programs> accessories> system tools> disk defragmenter. After the program has opened, just click on drive c and than click on defragmentate now, wait for it to complete and than do the same with all the drive. oooo and make sure that u have atleast 15% free space on all drives before u start.

Click on the Start menu, select "all programs"-->"accessories"-->"system tools"-->"disk defragmenter". Once it's open, select the drive you want to defragment (probably C:) and click "defragment"! Easy!

Depends on your computer. Catch me on messenger if this doesn't work:
Control Panel>Performance and Maintence>Rearrange items on hard disk...
Then click "Defragment." Make sure you select C:// drive.

On older OS, you can do this:
Start:Run: then type "defrag" {without the quotes} and it will pop the defrag box.

Good luck. :D

Right-Click on the part of your computer that you want to de-fragmentize, then click Properties. Under the "Tools" tab, you will see an option (usually the 2nd option) and click "Defragment Now"

If you have it run the defrag program, it is fairly easy to use, click analyze and if it says that you need to, click defrag.
