In 1806 Jane Taylor wrote Twinkle Twinkle Little Star whilst living in Colchester. 200 years ago!!

Easy. Lyrics are by Jane Taylor, English, 1806, melody is a traditional French one.

Mozart did not write it, he only used it as the basis for his Variations on Ah! Vous dirai-je maman, the French melody. Several composers used it.
