For me, it must be a horse that ought to manage rugged trails all day lengthy. in addition they might want to be smooth so i like a gaited horse. the horse that matches the bill is the Missouri Fox Trotter. they're versatile, having been used as ranch and saddle horses for years. they have superb stamina, although no longer as a lot because the arabs. After a 10 mile or extra journey mine nonetheless have the skill to run. They make tremendous all round horses, I run barrels with my mare and she or he took 2d interior the close by gymkhana (i visit't beat the girl who used to run the circuit). For those of you who're in touch, Missouri fox trotters are very corresponding to the before quarter horses. they're leaner, although being a saddle horse first and a ranch horse 2d. they have the most certain footed of each of the gaits. that is a fox trot, that is analogous to a trot except the hind foot comes up somewhat before the diagonal the front and also lands before it. this suggests the fox trot has an prolonged era of time with 3 ft on the floor than the trot. that is likewise a lot smoother, because the front and again of the saddle bypass at diverse situations, generating a rocking action instead of the up and down action of the trot. old Fox, between the unique fox trotters, has 2 strains which descended from him. One changed into the Missouri Fox Trotters. the different turned right into a line of quarter horses which to this present day will sometimes throw a gaited quarter horse....although no longer in many situations to boot gaited because the fox trotters. @ Gale Hawk....in case you ever get to come back through southern MO enable me comprehend and also you'll take a journey.

I have a lot of favorites. They are Mustangs (top fave), Arabs, Fresians, Clydesdale, Rocky Mountain Horses, and Tennessee Walking Horses. These are the only ones I can remember at the moment.
Colors: Bay, Black, Palomino, Pinto, White, or ant color combination because I think they are all beautiful.
Hope it was helpful.

If I could have any horse in the world, it would be a grulla Appaloosa, with a white blanket over its rump and big peacock spots all over the rump.
If that wouldn't do, then I'll take a black Appaloosa, same pattern.
If I can't have an Appaloosa, I'd like a grulla Quarter Horse.
But then..buckskins and palominos are awesome - sounds like I am just as much a horse lover as you!

My favorite breed of horse is the thoroughbred for many reasons; they are fast, smart, agile, gorgeous, and can do any sport or anything you put them up to. They can do western, english and anyhthing else they are overall the best horses you can have. I also like the color light and red chestnut colors as theyare very easy to keep clean and the dust if you ever have dust does not ever show up.

Mine has to be the Irish cob. (Strong majestic, Kind, loyal, brave)
I like the strength and kindness of nature of the larger breeds.
Skewbald as there are so many different types of colour combinations. (Rich Brown and white)is probably my fave.
Tri coloured are also beautiful to me. The thing is about the patch colour horse to me is they are so unique.
