What the hell does Al Qaeda want?

seems to me that Al Qaeda is just a network of cowardly idiots who call themselves "Muslims" and taint the real beauty that is in the Qur'an. Though sadly/disgustingly they employ terrorist actions, other resistance groups like Hamas and Hezbollah fight oppressive powers like Israel and corruption, and offer humanitarian/civil services to desperate people, Al Qaeda does not seem to have anything to offer anyone. Why do they go around the world killing innocent people? What are they trying to achieve? seems to me AlQaeda's just some group of ignorant fools doing the work of the devil.

I feel Al Qaeda is tainting the beauty of the Muslim religion as you say. It is sad to see.

They want non-Muslim peoples out of the country of their religious base, Mecca. I think they could learn some tolerance that I bet Mohammad probably taught.

Sadly most religions have extremists that interpret so they can justify their murder.

Ur right about Al Queda being cowardly idiots, but ur wrong about them muslims and the quran. If you havent noticed, a hell of a lot of muslims support him, and hate Israel, the US, and western culture in general. I have read the Qu'ran from cover to cover and I did'nt see any beauty there. I read a lot of ugly, in fact. It doesn't use the word "infidel", but it uses the arab translation instead. It does tell muslims to kill the infidels. It does speak of forced conversions, enslavement, death, etc. If you haven't done so, I highly recommend you read the entire Qu'ran, cover to cover, and then study up on Islam from its beginning to now. Read about their main prophet, Muhammad, his life and what he did. It may surprise you.

But back to ur original question about Al Queda. Al Queda wants what Islam demands, world domination. You see, the word Islam does not translate into Peace, as we are told it does. The real translation means "submit to Allah". It doesnt say submittion is to be peaceful or forced, it just says submit. No wonder so many chinese were killed when Islamists took Indonesia by force. 30 million chinese died.
