First, yes, there are winged ants -- see below:
"There is much confusion about winged ants. Carpenter Ants, as well as other ants, have a segment of their population known as the reproductive stage. Flying ant reproductives are often confused with winged termite reproductives.
As a simple rule of thumb: if the body of the insect looks just like an ant with wings, it's a flying ant, not a termite. Here is a comparison:
Ant reproductives are defined by having three distinct body segments (head, thorax, abdomen), elbowed antennae and clear, pointed wings that are only slightly longer than the insect's body.
Termite reproductives have two distinct body segments (head & thorax), straight antennae and translucent, paddle shaped wings that are twice as long as the body of the insect. " (first link)
That link will also give you ideas on how to keep them out of the house in the future. As for the problem you have now, without knowing if you have an active nest in the house, it is difficult to advise you. However, the second link below has many questions from people with similar problems, along with answers and links to products, so maybe it will take you to an answer for you. Or, you can call an exterminator.

It appears like yu have termites no longer flying ants. seem online for ants and termites and see what the version is as to what they appear as if. despite if that's termites you have a concern in the event that they're basically undeniable ants use Terro ant killer, get it at Wal Mart and persist with instructions; save remote from pets and infants.

it could be ants people! they do the same as termites and have winged flights when females leave to create new nests and males fly with them to mate!! you need to find the nest and take care of them,, there isn't much to do about the flying ants except spray them and find their new nests!!
