Guess, Tirupati to Coorg should be through Bangalore and Mysore. This could be the shortest route. Tirupati to Bangalore rougly about 6 hours drive, Bangalore to Mysore about 2 and half hour drive and Mysore to Coorg about one and half an hour drive.
so totally about 10 hours drive you should be in Coorg.

shortest way via bongalore n mysore n coorg. u have a lot of bus from b'lore to madikeri.
