in the series Gundam Seed Destiny episode 3 it shows that stellar and her other two teamates are like in this tube thinggy and stellar is like really weird or they human or just experiements or equipment for the earth.....

They were natural humans but they were injected with drugs ever since they were young/ born perhaps. Then they were forced to train in the art of killing others.
But due to the tremendous effects of the drugs given to them, they won't survive for so long, that's why, they were put to sleep in those glass chambers in order for their body to recover.
Basically, they are half dead and are only sustained by drugs and the rehabilitation chamber.
