The only people who don't deserve to live are pedophiles and murderers. If you're not one of these, then you are not a useless worthless piece of sh*t.
Everyone has something they're good at, don't belittle whatever it is that you can do well, try to develop it, and keep trying new things, maybe you just haven't found the area where you'll really excel.
The two best ways to boost confidence are:
A: to never dwell on what you perceive to be your failures or on the bad moments in your life
B: to act confident. It's easier than you think. Even if you don't really feel confident, hold your head up, stand tall, walk like you're really going somewhere. Speak in the clearest voice you can, and practice making eye contact with people when you talk to them. It gets easier the more you do it. It's true that if you just try to act the way you would if you really were confident, suddenly one day you'll realize that you're not acting anymore. (And other people never knew you were!)
I know this may be a corny old cliche, but the only time you've failed is when you give up trying. They say Edison tried hundreds of times to before he came up with a working light bulb, and every time he 'failed' he said, 'Well, I know what won't work'

First of all you are not worthless or useless and you deserve to live. I don't know what age you are but everybody goes through those feelings at some point in their life. You are not alone. Keep looking for something you are good at like a hobby or interest. Everybody has a gift. You just have to keep looking for it sometimes. Also a trick i found to really enjoying life is to appreciate the little things that are special or important to only you. IT could be as simple as playing your favorite cd, reading a good book. or talking to your best friend. Set things to look for it everyday. When you do that then everyday is a gift. Also get involved with either volunteering or a charity. When you do good for other people then you feel good inside. Keep your chin up. I've been there but it gets better.

I know that those feelings also can be pretty isolating to the point of no hope. I've been there and I know it's not just you feeling sorry for yourself. I have been through counseling and found that incredibly helpful. I especially recommend counseling because you seem to be suffocating your feelings (want to cry, but can't) in a subconscious way.
Also, pick something that you love and join a group; if you love music, join a choir; if you love dogs, find a shelter to volunteer with, etc. It will help build your confidence when you're giving something to someone else. One of the best ways to level with life is by volunteering at an elderly home, or at a soup kitchen. Giving to those less fortune that you will (1) make you realize that life might not be as bad as you sometimes thinks, and (2) give you a sense of worth by bringing smiles to the faces of grandmothers with no visitors, or someone who has no home.
Building confidence is something that takes time, so most importantly, be patient with yourself. Accept that it's ok to have flaws--not only that, but people love you despite your flaws.
This must be a scary time for you, but persevere and find little ways to succeed (i.e. by volunteering) and those little ways will grow into bigger accomplishments!! Good luck!

First off, you're not useless, worthless or a piece of sh*t. You do deserve to live and you just have to find what you're good at and why you aren't good at what you can't do.
Type in "Confidence boosting" in any search engine and delve in the results. (By the way, www.confidencebooster.com just gets you a line of beauty`products.)
As stated above, you need to surround yourself with people that will take your mind away from dark thoughts, that help you realize that you have lots of potential in you and how to get it out, that help you feel comfortable with yourself. If you don't have any decent friends around you, join clubs or check out social centres, places where all kinds of people congregate till you find somewhere that you makes you grow.

It's coming from outside of yourself if I know technology deployment when I hear it. You are in process of being conditioned and manipulated.
You are a person.
You have worth as such.
Eat an apple. Check ' flax oil ' on the net. This'll help you build a resistance. Every read the King James Bible? Ever heard of a Strongs' Concordance? No. I don't advocate going to church or talking to anyone about this. Do it for your own edification. hope this helps, friend. Heads up. It isn't coincidental, what you're feeling. That's the first thing they used to teach detectives in training. No such thing as coincidence.

I would read That Winning Feeling! by Jane Savoie. There's a lot about horses and competition, but the majority of it is about confidence and nervousness (is that a word...?) It basically boils down to you are the one who decides if you want to be positive or negative. I used to feel depressed and occasionally suicidal but not anymore after getting my slight ADD percrisption (never take it anymore lol), but the book gives you a lot of positive engergy. You can also try consuling...but there are as many bad consulers as there are good ones.

I think at times there are situations where we all have those feelings. Just look around you and figure out what makes you happy. Perhaps you need a change. Surround yourself with positive people ... that makes a difference!
You may also want to talk to your doctor. Sometimes meds can help you get out of this slump and on to better, more positive thoughts.

Don't listen to people's advice on what exactly you SHOULD do...just think of something you really want to do with your life and try to find out how to do it.
This really depends on your age/finances/education/etc., but if you're in your 20-25 range you should consider moving...maybe even going abroad and traveling for a while. The most important thing is, regardless of your age, if things seem bad you should consider what you could do differently in your life to take control of your own destiny. Find out what you're good at, or at least what you love, and go for it.
