Not knowing the type of clog.. I would suggest blowing Air through the drain line.. Blowing from the point where the dishwasher drain line connects to the Drain under the sink. Might have to remove the protective screen inside the dishwasher to allow all the clog to be removed.

Every dishwasher has a filter inside, on the bottom, where the water is sucked out. Looks like a small gully. It can be removed and cleaned. How -- ? -- depends on your model. Got an owner's manual and a pair of glasses?
