Will the New Orleans Hornets go back and stay there or do you think that they plan on staying in OKC? i know next year they will go back but what if by then another hurricane hits?
During a visit to a Hornets game in November, Stern said Oklahoma City was "at the top of the list" if an expansion team became available.

The New Orleans Hornets will DEFINITELY return to New Orleans for the 07-08 season. 35 games in OKC next year 6 in New Orleans. The Local Investors over there,lead by Clay Bennet I believe, just bought the Seattle SuperSonics. So when the Hornets return you guys get the SS. Stern has said on countless occasions that the Hornets will return to New Orleans. Hey at least you don't have to deal with Shinn anymore. That's the only drawback to have the Hornets back. I'm telling for that 04-05 season when we won 18 games I went to a luncheon and got a DVD from it I can't even begin to tell you how many times he said "I love New Orleans. New Orleans is my second home. We won't leave because we are a New Orleans team." And look what he tried to pull this year. "I love New Orleans"-Yeah Right.

They will move back. When is the question. An OKC group bought the Seattle SuperSonics and Storm but doesn't plan to move them for awhile and New Orleans isn't close to its former glory. It might be next year or it might be in 3 years. Either way it'll be exciting as I live in Oklahoma.

Dude. Sonic Burgers are getting a Basketball team now. So it looks like Hornets are flying south.

You guys mite get the supersonics starting in 2007-2008 season...but i dont know wut they will do about the hornets....new orleans iisnt in any way near being rebuilt....so im pretty sure they would have to go to another city...because its gonna take new orleans atleast a decade to even completely rebuild....dat whole city was jsut completely gone...
