Dont Irish people have dark hair, pale skin, and blue eyes?

I'm not being stereotypical, I'm trying to prove a stereotype wrong lil miss blonde hair blu eyes, if your not gonna answer a question dont get an attitude

There are many different types of Irish. There is the red hair green eyed type, that's me Although there are more of those is Scotland than Ireland. There are black Irish, dark hair, dark eyes. And there are the Blondie's. We get everything! It's what makes us special.

No it is only because red hair and green eyes is much more common among them compare other people, so this gives the impression as if they all have red hair. However, the truth is that the majority of Irish people have pure blue eyes and brown hair, but most males have a reddish tint in their beards regardless of hair color.

Most of the Irish people I've met in my life had brown hair ... some had almost black hair, but none of them had red hair!! None of them had green eyes either - I think they might have all had blue eyes, it's possible that some of them had brown eyes and I've forgotten it but yes, most (or even all) of them had blue eyes! (I've only known about 200~300 people who are either Irish or of 100% Irish descent though, so don't take TOO much notice!)

Not necessarily. It's a stereotype. Just like saying most African Americans have black hair and brow eyes. Believe it or not, it is our nationality that decides factors like this, all from God's 12 tribes, that eventually became races.

Yes one of my friends is Irish...she has very dark hair and bright blue eyes. Depends on what area of Ireland you're from.

that's just as likely to be true as all people of certain race or ethnic group being lazy, having hook noses or being tight with money. It is a stereotype, but rather a more pleasant one then some that spring to mind.
