cause most of the reason people start talking to people of the oppisite sex is because they are attracted to each that person. but that doesn't mean you are having sex with them. i have numerous guy friends and its too weird to think of them as anything else.

ok for opposite sex friends, when you get that close to a person..its easy to assume that closeness was brought on by sex and an intimate relationship.
but not all relationships are like that. that's the problem. and boys do tend to stay friends with girls they want to hook up with. its just girls don't do that. we just want the friendship plain and
simple.
and for same sex friends, its because when your close to that type of person, you tend to do alot of touching and hugging, slapping on the shoulder/*** or whatever. and since we live in such a touch-deprived society, we think any touch is sexual.

ive never had the same sex ones. but opposite sex best friends is a lot of the time what people do to hide there relationship.! i guess. people always think that with me and my best friend matt even though were both seeing other people.

probably did it with all their friends so they just assume every one else does!

because they're immature and probably never had a close friend so they don't understand.
