I let it out, quite frankly. I think it is wrong for people to impose on how we should handle our anger and being told that we need to manage it.
While I understand the message behind it, and that you shouldn't hit people, I don't see what's wrong with simply yelling or screaming especially when someone deserves it.
Society is doing us a disservice by asking people to suppress their anger, because then it come come out in more destructive ways than if a person simply expresses their anger initially. After all, anger is a human emotion like any other.

Depends...if you can parlay it into something else, it's usually better for you in the long run and do something physical to work off the anger.
I clean the house, dance to my cd's in my room or go hiking. The other thing that has been useful is to journal and also to check out something really funny on the web- like youtube.com or homestarrunner.com.

Count silently to 100. While you are counting, think of the millions of people who have no arms, no feet, no hands, whose minds are messed up--those who cannot think straight and then after you have done that, find this very comforting 24-hour channel: www.tbn.org or try to find Joyce Meyers website. She is an excellent teacher on handling emotions

let it out. sometimes i don't even know it's there and BAM! out it comes. i try not to let it out at people in a bad manner (ie...yelling or cussing etc). i try to get alone and pray it out or write about it (you should see some of the anger poetry i have!). music can help...but then again it can feed it too. gotta be careful what i put in when i'm mad. :)

hide it ignore it. If I blew up everytime I got upset, I'd hurt a lot of people. I need time to get perspective and think about the consequences of various actions I could take.

What do I do with my anger you say? I know what I do with my anger, saying words like "****", "****", "damn", "hell", "***", "piss", and even "Goddammit". I can say phraes like "What the ******* hell is ******* going on in here?", "What the ******* hell is wrong with you ******* people?", and "Go **** yourselves, you ************* bastards!!!" I let all my anger out, you know what I'm saying? I myself do usually let myself bust loose with "****", "****", "damn", "hell", "***", "Goddammit", "piss", and all these words sometimes in the same sentence when something gets me all riled up like somebody dropped a cup of hot coffee on my shirt!! Or, maybe when I just do not get my own way half the time. Or maybe, people just do not or are not capable of understanding my outrageously bizarre behavioural pattern 99.9% of the time!! That is how life is. Or maybe, I8 can not get my avatar on the computer screen, it is soooo totally annoying, so totally ******* annoying when it comes to getting the ******* avatar on the ******* computer screen as desired by yours truly, Daniel ******* Luster!!
