How do I make a link that creates a pop-up window and closes the original window? Ex. If there was a link that said 'click here' and I clicked it, a window would pop up and the original window containing the link I clicked would close itself.

Please don't tell me to google it, I've tried that and Yahoo'd it too.

it is javascript...and trust me, it won't always work...the person can have javascript disabled...or, as in my case, have javascript limited in it's abilities via the browser (i use firefox)...so all your programming would be wasted...and annoying...

just as John J stated, javascript might be off and won't work like you'd like it to...
