Because being a jerk doesn't deserve to have the death penalty as punishment, that's why...especially considering this person hasn't gotten a chance to develop into an adult and perhaps recognize their mistakes.

Because the bullies are allowed to be bullies because their parents think they are angels. And when they get killed, by the kids who have been victimized by the bully, the only thing to focus on is the final act itself. The bully has one, he/she is now a martyr.
I know it's hard, but don't let the bully win this way. One of my friends once said to me, the best revenge is living well in spite of everything.

Bullys have families too and since you can not fully understand someone you might not be able to see why a person acts a certian way.

Bullies would probably grow up and realize the error of their childish bullying; that's life. When someone commits an adult crime like murder, they take away the bullies ability to grow up.

Although I do think there should be more severe punishments for bullies; I think depriving them of life is a little excessive.

Because being a dick to a kid that you find less than normal is not punishable by death. I used to be teased all the time. Never once did I want to kill the boys who called me "Lice Girl". I simply realized that they were idiots and someday karma would kick in. (Many of them failed sixth grade and were forced to stay back.)

Because, no matter what they do, they're still human beings, and somebody loves them. They did a heck of a lot of wrong, yes, but is it better to go "Well, you had it coming"?
