you are dong fine. You can feed him the commercially prepared babyfoods that are sold in the grocery store if you'd like. They have meat in some of them.
They also make little snacks for babies too that are sold by the babyfood. Just read the instructions to make sure it's for a 7 month old.

I'm sure you are a concerned caregiver, but this kind of question goes in my personal "what the...?" category. Unless a 7-month-old followed you home from school one day, a pediatrician should be a phone call away. This is especially important because some foods - including certain fruits and veggies - are less recommended because they may cause allergies later in life if introduced too early.
PLEASE don't rely on some answers you get here - half the people will tell you to feed a baby pizza and beer.

That sounds like *way* too much food for a baby so young. A 7 month old would normally be nursing and getting no solids or only a *tiny* bit (1/4 tsp.) per day. Breastfeeding (or formula) is supposed to be the majority of baby's diet until the first birthday.

Yep, sounds fine. Also, our doctor when my son was first born was promoting the idea of feeding the child whatever you were going to be eating as long as it's healthy and not too spicy. All you did was put it in a food processor to chop it up to mush.

Yes ma'am, at about 9 months is when my doctor suggested to introduce plain meats and to start sneaking in some whole milk and juices.

Yes! Sounds like you are doing fine. Make sure the baby is getting enough protein, too.

pot-roast and whiskey! j/k
Talk to a doc, or another mother. Sounds like you're on the right track... maybe some protein though? not sure how much is in the formula...

Feed him whatever you eat but in small pieces. My daughter gnawed on pizza at 6 months.
