I've tried deleting the cookies and temporary files and it's not working. I don't see anything at the bottom, or for that fact anywhere, that says I can switch back to the older Yahoo. Please help.

If your talking about the old yahoo search page, click here http://www.yahoo.com/ go all the way to the bottom and click switch to old yahoo page.
If your talking about your old yahoo home page click here http://www.yahoo.com/ And click My Yahoo.

I offer u a trick:
use an unsupported browser like previous versions of Mozila firefox to be able to go to old yahoo home page.

what are u switching from 8 back to 7.5 i di it the other day says u can switch it on page u download it from or ithink i had to erase all my yahoo and re download

You'll see
Whats new.... go all the way right -Switch to old page.
It really should be there.

If u are talking abt Yahoo BETA. then there is a solution.
you will find the option of "Switch Bakc" just near "logout".
