Uhhh...I think that you should go to high school. You are a dumb ***, they obviously did not teach you a thing.

Yes that's .. if you are living at home... Maybe this will help ... depending in your area.. (e.g. TX Dallas, 3 hours = $100-300 dollars a class, so do the math 3hours = 1class.. 5 classes = 15 hours... So tut might cose you between $500 - $1500. Books is were it's going to hurt so, sense it's your first year look to buy books at around $60-120.. Good hint = try to buy use... you can usually find these books from last year students and if you are lucky last years matieral. Look for book postings. Its great that your going to community college and remember that community college hours are as good as Unverisity hours (e.g. UT Eng 1304 cost $1034, Eng 1304 at community college $275... Do the math , they both have the same equal value... ) Remember if you decide to go to unverisity level... you can only transfer up too 60 hours from community college... Good luck...
Peace out Big Daddy X

My daughter was granted a $2,000 scholarship to a local community college for her freshman year.
That covered all but $82.00 for one semester in tuition. She carried 5 classes each semester.
Now...on top of that we had to pay $200.00- $260.00 a sememster for her books. But those are college bookstore prices (you can get them cheaper by buying used on-line), on going in with classmates to purchase the books that aren't needed everynight. And remember- with books you sell them back at the end of the semester and you at least get SOME (about 1/3) of the cost back.
Good luck in your studies!

depends on the college, the classes, and whether you need to live in the dorms or at home. Call the admissions office at the school and ask them.
And what about next year? You won't get much of a degree in just one year.

4k would be enough for a 4-year degree at the local community college here! With change to spare!
