Can anyone recommend a good news site. I currently use Sky but their news items are very brief. At the same time I don't want a site that is too indepth. I don't mind a site that gives you the option of going indepth if you want to. Am I being too choosy?

For the past 100 years I have chosen BBC. It is usually unbiased. In the old days they would never broadcast anything until it had been double-checked. Not sure these days though.

The best is http://news.google.com

it picks the best stories from tons of different sources - you can pick which ones you prefer - you can also pick which topics you want to see. Politics/Sport/Entertainment/Local etc....

It gives a small summary or line on each storie and you can choose to click on it for the full story.

I've made it my homepage - well worth checking out because you get several different opinions.
