am i too young to wear makeup?

my brother thinks im too young to wear coverup or eyeliner or get my nails done or dye my hair or anything else and im 13 years old.

I would wait with dying your hair, because it simply makes it weaker. I can't realy say if you're too young - just bear in mind - the less and the more delicate the better.

Yeah 4 Dying ur hair ur 2 young but 4 coverup and eyeliner its the right age 2 start and i started getting my nalis done since like I was 10 years old ...

At 13 honey your a natural beauty....you have the glow of youth....your teeth are still a natural white....and your eyes still have the brightness of innocence. If you have small acne problems, try to find something that will correct it, not cover it and possible make it worse. You are still a little too young for anything besides lip gloss. Trust me honey in as little as 10 years from now you'll be wishing you had that baby face back. As far as get you nails done, natural nails look way better than fake.....grow your own and get them manicured. Try Sally Hansons hard as nails.
You'll save yourself some money and possibly some fungus. Fake nails can be painful when they break.

Instead of asking if you're too young to be wearing makeup, you need to be asking yourself if you need to wear makeup at all! Take a good look at yourself in the mirror and think hard about if makeup really is necessary. Chances are you're beautiful just the way you are and don't need any kind of coverup!

Well, so am I, I think it is okay to where makeup now. But not dark,heavy,or a lot.Then it makes you look like you are 17 or something. You do not want to look older.You can ware coverup. Wait 'till your 14 for the eyeliner to come in to your life.Your brothers right about the eyeliner. He just does'nt want you to grow up.

yer not too young. i'm 13 too. you can get yer nails done and dye yer hair, but heres the makeup you should stick to and the makeup you should avoid.
stick to mascara, lip gloss, eye shadow, and blush. and concealer if you need it.
stay away from liquid foundation, tinted moisturizers, and eyeliner. eyeliner will make you look like a $lut if you wear it at a young age. (no offense) and liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer will just give you zits and it feels really weird on you face.
but you dont need makeup to be pretty, it just enhances your features.

Heck no!!! im 12, nd i wear make-up, nd im getting my hair dyed blonde in a few days! dont worry about what he or any1 else thinks! some of my family is the same exact way! i just ignore them, nd tell them im gonna dye my hair or sumthing anyway. as long as ur parents r fine with it, Dont Worry! : )

i think you are if your in middle school ....but if your headed to high school .. its ok to wear some light makeup(lip gloss,some light coverage foundation)... .....i streaked my hair when i was 14,i started getting my nails done when i was about 13 but really short and a really nice nail color .....so keep it simple and tell your brother to buzz off your turning into a young lady who wants to start taking care of herself...and i don't see a problem w/it if your going to high school

I don't think you're too young to wear a little bit, but that's up to your mom. If she lets you wear it, ask her to either show you how to apply it or take you to a make up counter where they can show you how to apply it properly.

A little powder, mascara and lip gloss is all you need. As far as your nails, I think that's ok ... unless it's floozy red.

i know alot of 13 year old and YOUNGER that wear makeup. i don't think girls should wear makeup before they are 12 though. unless your parents say otherwise then you should be able to wear makeup. your brother probally just doesn't like guys looking at you.
