DSL, from verizon. I have it and it works so much faster. I used to have dial-up but i got so slow. With Verizon if you sign up online you get the first month free and its only 14.95 per month online. If you sign up my telephone its 17.95 per month with one month free. Its very fast and you can talk on the phone sam etim eyou are ont he internet.

I have Comcast. It comes in at 3.75 to 4.35 Mbps...most webpages open up in less than a few seconds...nothing takes longer than 10-15 seconds unless there is a problem.

We've used DSL before (phone service) and recently changed to our cable service and have a fast Roadrunner. I think they're both pretty good.

charter high speed or bell south high speed. the equipment that you have to have is modem. if you get internet through these companies they will let you buy the modem or let you rent it.

Comcast is pretty good. You should check if their service is available in your area though.
