I think what you're feeling is normal. After all, you're going to miss your friend, right? But you helped her do the thing that was best for her and her kids. You're still friends and you should try to get some comfort from the fact that You are a good friend.

you did a really great thing to help a friend out of a dangerous/negative situation. And you have every right to be upset, it is only natural that you should feel upset and alone after someone who you've grown close to has gone away. You said that you felt lonely - is there anyone you can talk to, another friend, or a close family member? Helping someone through a difficult situation can also take an emotional toll on YOU, as it seems to be doing. Sometimes talking out loud about your feelings, to someone you trust, about the situation can help you feel better about everything. Perhaps, although you will probably still miss the friend who moved away, you won't feel so lonely any more.
But again, it's definitely normal to feel sad or depressed when you've become involved in a weighty/depressing situation, and/or a friend has moved away.

It's perfectly normal. You have been through a stressful situation with your friend, and now you're feeling a void because she's gone. Does that make any sense?
Be greateful you were able to help your friend and quite possibly save her life and that of her kids. It's OK to miss her presence, but with email and all, you can keep in touch once she is settled. I left my best friend 4 months ago to move to a new area, and we email all the time. Remember that true friends are forever.

If you had prevented her from going away so that you wouldn't feel alone, then you would have been selfish.
But since you know that she has taken the right decision, you should try to cheer up thinking that she will be happier in her new life.
We all feel depressed and alone some time or the other.

You're feeling a normal let down after a stressful situation. And you're missing your friend, nothing odd about that.
Just keep in touch with her as best you can and know you were the best kind of friend to help her out the way you did.

Very normal. Most people, including myself, would feel the same way. Time will help and maybe you can establish some contact. Anyway, you did the right thing.

It's normal. Sounds like you were good friends and you didn't want her to have to move so far away, but you did the right thing. Good for you and good for her for getting away.

Yes it is normal. You're just missing her that's all.
In time you'll realize that you made a good decision and feel good about yourself.
