Where does the log3 sqrt(x-2) come into the equation?

I'm assuming that it is 86... that being said...

86+3x = 4
(-86)+86+3x = 4+(-86)
3x = (-82)
1/3 X 3x = (-82) X 1/3
x = (-27 1/3)

and now that I've done half your homework for you... figure the other one out yourself... or use BOB (back of the book).
