A random good one that is hard to find is Big Man on Campus, old 80s movie, but it's fun. A good Independent Movie that my bf and I watched a week ago was Everything Is Illuminated with Elijah Wood, Damn good movie. Let's see, Princess Bride, because it's a classic.

Go Tell the Spartans ( still, in my opinion, the best Vietnam war movie)
Dr Zhivago
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
All older movies but very good for their genre.

My favorite movie of all times is, "The Sting."
It's an excellent movie revolving around a group of guys attempting to con a wealthy racketeer out of some of his fortune. Stars Paul Newman and Robert Redford. It's a really smart movie that you have to pay attention to the whole time.

Crash is really good. Also 40 year old virgin, wedding crashers just rented family stone and didnt think it was all that great Oh and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind was also interesting
