It's great for any age, I'm 20 and I just went in May. For older ages MGM and Epcot are better because there not overly crowded with little kids and they have more of the adult rides. (MGM has the Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster). The new coaster at Animal Kingdom isn't that great and that park is always full of kids and busy so I'd say skip it. Water parks are also great for all ages. There's also Downtown Disney which is the best place for shopping because pretty much anything you find in the park will be in at least one of the shops and you can usually get discounts for Downtown Disney with TripleA or others. There's also DisneyQuest and Pleasure Island. Pleasure Island is always full of adults after dark and park closings and DisneyQuest is like a giant arcade with state of the art virtual reality games. Disney also has its own Cirque Du Soleil show. Magic Kingdom is the epitome of Disney and it does have some stuff for older kids (i.e. Splash Mountain) but make sure you go on a weekday to hit the least crowds and definitely go on rides during parades (you can pick up an event schedule at the front of the park). Also, check out the light shows and fireworks displays, and especially Fantasmic at MGM.

My favorite thing is being their with my family. I know sounds corny, but I find Disney is one place that has something for everyone.
I love the rides, the atmosphere, even the employees seem to really be apart of the magic that makes it all come together.
There are so many incredible things to see and do, but what impresses me is how it all works and functions.
While your their enjoy the rides, food, and characters, but most of all take a breath or two, and enjoy the moment and take as much as you can in. I have been three times and have still not seen everything and that gives me another reason to want to go back again.
When we go we leave the negative behind and as a wine or food critic savor the precious time that seems to pass all to quickly.
I really envy you, have a great time!

Yes! Disney World is great fun for all ages! To enjoy some of the more "grown up" things Disney World has to offer, I recommend visiting these places while on your trip:
*Pleasure Island: dance the night away at fun clubs. Be sure you visit the comedy club! It's the best!
*Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach: both water parks are a ton of fun and Typhoon offers special surfing lessons before the park opens for a fee.
*ALL 4 of Disney's theme parks. Even the slow kiddie rides in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom are fun! Give everything a try!
*Downtown Disney Marketplace: great place to shop and eat
Be sure you stop by City Hall at the Magic Kingdom (located to the left as you enter Main Street) to tell them that it is your birthday! They have special "It's my birthday" pins that they give out. It will often help you get on rides and get special attention throughout the day. Lots of fun.
If you'd like any help planning for your birthday trip or would like some tips and ideas, check out my Disney Vacation Blog, I'm All Ears at:

Have a great birthday!

I'm 19, don't go with younger kids, and absolutely love it. It's my favorite place in the world! I go with my boyfriend, it's very romantic. My favorite thing to do is just hang out with my love around the Polynesian Resort where we always stay. Enjoy the waterfalls around the lobby, walk along the beach, lay in a hammock, watch the fireworks, or just enjoy the A/C in our room.
For your 21st birthday you may enjoy Downtown Disney... there's all kinds of night clubs, an indoor interactive theme park, a 24 theatre complex, and Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba.
HAVE FUN! Happy Birthday! (whenever it is)

I love WDW, and I'm 40 years old!! I think probably my favorite thing is Illuminations at Epcot. It's a great show, try to sit around Morocco, it's not as crowded over there. There's also a 2nd level to the Japanese pavillion that almost everyone forgets about, you can sit up there as well.
Check out this site before you go though...great $$ saving tips!

I just got back Sunday from Orlando. I stayed a week. This is my 4th time going there and I love it!! There are so many different places to go, depending on what you like. I loved universal studios, animal kingdom, and magic kingdom. If you are looking for a party scene for your 21st BD you can go to CityWalk at Universal. My friend and I had a blast there! You are welcome to email me if you have any other questions about my trip. I hope you have a happy birthday!
