Unfortunatly, in todays world, its more about the image than anything else... There are plenty of musicians out there with, honestly, little or no talent, but are hyped to no end because they are good looking and can shake their body.

it should be true talent but the horrible thing is that publicized tallent is now the true tallent to most people

Music is all about real talent. In our MTV world and consumer driven record labels it's about looking good or different from the norm. These people don't have to have talent they are basically good salesmen and women.

I think it's true talent. I like bands who write their own lyrics and music. I feel they are better deserving of my money for cd's and concert tickets.
