to your partner, wife, husband, significant other to drastically change their appearance like as ina body burn or amputation. Would you stay with them? If you did, would you feel the same about them and still be able to have relations with them? Discuss?
I personally know that I would and I could... and I hope to never have to find that out for certain and wish peace and strength and love to all those in the military facing that scenerio everyday.

I would say yes, but none of really know our limitations until tested and hopefully I will never have to find out.

Yes I would have, and could have. I did not love my wife because of her hot body, She was 230 on our wedding day. I loved her for who she was.
She of course would not have. One of the reasons she left me was because I had gotten over weight and ballooned up to 280 lbs. Coincidentally she was the same weight.
The weight was the first thing on her list. My receding hairline was second.
