i have had a passport before when i was 13... that was ten years ago... did they pass a new law that says i have to be a citizen to renew or obtain a new passport?

to get a United States Passport you must be a United States Citizen. Duh.

If you are getting a United States passport then you need to be a US citizen.

if youre not a US citizen, you cant get a US passport...you'd have to get a passport from the country in which youre a citizen. im an argentinian citizen but a permanent resident of the united states...my passport is from argentina but i have a green card.

You need to be a citizen of a country to pocess a passport.
I am GERMAN and I do have a passport from the country of Germany.
Ja, you need to be a US citizen to receive a US passport.

uh huh.......if u are a US citizen,u get a US passport,if you are an italian,u get an italian passport,so what country are you from?u can go get thier passport...
