I'm 24 weeks and I had a dream last night that my labor was easy and uncomplicated. (we're talking just a few pushes and pain free, and quick). Anyone had similiar experiences and how has it compared to the actual delivery.
Side note - I dreamed of a little girl when I was 14 weeks pregnant and found out I'm having a girl.

With my firstborn I dreamed I was having a boy and did. I dreamed the labor would be hard, but in reality it was the worst experience I ever had. With my daughter I dreamed I would have another boy, but didn't. I dreamed the labor would be bad like the first time and I was scared to death, but she came out really easily. Dreams can sometimes just be wishful thinking. For you I absolutely hope you get exactly what you want. Congratulations and good luck!

i've been dreaming about my delivery everynight this week. mine is a little different though because i am having a c-section. it's my 5th and i know exactly what to expect. i'm hoping it will go as quickly in real life as it is in my dreams. in my dreams, i'm in my own room with the baby within 30 minutes of laying down on the operating table. i know that's not possible, but wishful thinking never hurt anyone!! i'm scheduled for my c-section this thursday, so i hope it's only two more nights fo the same dream!
my sister had her little boy without any pain medication and was in labor for a total of 7 hours. it was her first and it only took her 2 contractions worth of pushing to get him out, so don't let anyone tell you that a first time delivery is always hard and long. good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and your delivery!!

I had a dream that I delivered while shopping! I just reached down and pulled him out and held him while I continued shopping! It seemed so normal in the dream, but I burst out laughing when I woke up. So, yes I did have a very easy delivery (3 hard pushes). However, I did use an epidural, but it was not a heavy dose.

I didn't dream of any of my deliver, but I had a dream close to my 14 week of a newborn, when I had my baby he was exactly as the one I dreamed of. Same thing happen with my second baby, but with the second I dreamed a bigger boy (10 - 12 months) and he looks just like that, he is 13 months now.
So try to remember the baby girl you dreamed of, she might look just like that. Best of Luck!!

Well I'm 8 weeks pregnant. My dream i think it was funny cause the day i found out of my pregnancy, that same night i had a dream that i was having it the next day. It was scary cause i had a BIG belly and my mom was next to me saying see what happened when you go out dancing. I think it was a lil funny cause i had only 6 weeks when i found out. Buy yeah i wish i could of seen my baby's sex cause I want a lil girl.

hmmm i always used to dream that i wud have a c-section... i donno for some reason! and yeah i did have c-section!
but counting on dreams for delivery is not a very gud idea. it cud just be a coincidence. u never know if u get good dreams always! so i think dreams have got nothing to do with labor!
