Is a crack den another name for a brothel?

I personally think that it speaks well of your character that you DON'T know what a crack den or brothel is! A crack den is a place (abandoned house,whatever) where druggies go to Make/buy/sell/smoke crack or other drugs. A brothel is a place that one goes to visit a prostiute and buy "physical pleasures". Stay innocent and stay away from BOTH of these places!

So no they are not the same. All though i imagine some prostitutes go to crack dens, they are not considered brothels.

Not necessarily. A "brothel" is a place where men and/or women sell themselves for money (READ: a place of prostitution). A brothel can also be a crack den if crack is bought, sold, and smoked there, but you can have a house where crack is trafficked but no prostitution is involved, and that house would still be a "crack den."
