Yes, I honestly care about other people. I believe when you think the best of others they do their best to live up to that expectation. Giving and caring about others pays me back ten times over.

I do, and I don't know why. I guess cause I'm not the most handsome guy in the world I would make up for all of my physical imperfections by being as God-like as I could be. So I am a very caring person, but I think if I was a beautiful person I would tell the world to go to Hell. I care enough to never own a gun, not because I don't like them or because I don't want to have killed another human being, but the thought that something I did would cause your love ones so much heartache (even if you were a bad person) that I never want to be the cause of it. I also don't think my life is worth more than anyone else's. Also, when I drive, I will let anyone in front of me, I never get mad when someone does something stupid, unless they do it with kids in the car. These are just simple examples I'm sure, but I do care about other people.

that's a very good question. I think I'm a people pleaser. I want to be liked by people so I try to be in my best disposition ALL the time. I'm friendly and I smile a lot. But when I feel that people are taking advantage of my niceness I become mean, people then stop liking me and become cautious around me. Do I really care about them? In a way, I do. I don't like people who are rude to me, so I'm not nice to them. I don't care at all about rude, obnoxious people. So, persistently rude and obnoxious people need to get out of my life. If I can tolerate them and they are an aspect in my life, then I will tolerate them and continue to "care".
If I live with that person, they will eventually have to move out. Or I will ask them to move out, or I will move out. But be nice about it so as not to burn bridges. ONLY if this person is an important aspect like your dad or step-daughter's husband. If they become an ex or no longer significant in your life ~ burn the dam bridge. You don't need to care for people who are selfish and don't care about you in return.

people are naturally selfish. That's why when we care about someone, it is usually bacause we subconsciously want them to be with us, we want them to love us and care about us
