We all have those moment from movies that we just can't forget. Name me one of yours!

For instance, there is a scene in "Farewell, My Concubine" (starring Leslie Cheung and Gong Li) that has never left me. The film is about two Peking opera singers whose careers are interrupted by the Cultural Revolution. Cheung's character is in love with his (male) friend, though his friend isn't aware of this. There is a scene in which various actors and other entertainers are rounded up and humiliated by the People's Army by being forced to dress in their costumes and parade down the street. As the actors hurriedly put on sloppy, mocking versions of their stage makeup, Cheung (looking perfect exquisite, as he always does when in costume), approaches his friend, takes the makeup brush, and carefully applies his friend's makeup. As this is an established ritual between them, it is a very touching, tragic sort of moment.

i couldn't choose just one, but i particularly remember one from "happy together", a wong kar-wai film, where a couple of gay guys —leslie cheung & tony leung— are into a relationship that goes no further; after they finally leave each other, one of them goes to iguazu —a place they planned to visit together, a place they named "the end of the world" — where he says good bye to his lover forever.

The Most Touching Movie Moment for me was in Crash...where the Latino guy's daughter was shoot and I turn off my dvd player cause I thought she was dead but then I turn the dvd player back on and watched as the bullet didn't hurt her and she told her daddy that she was here to protect him.

Another one is in the Tale of Two Cities and the good guy gets hanged for the other guy even though he was in love with the girl in the movie too. And then he quotes It's a far, far better thing I do than I have ever done. It's a far, far better rest I go to than I have ever known.

That was so good I cried all night long when I saw both movies.

For me it have to be movie "The Color Purple", where Shug Avery is singing "God is trying to tell you Something" and walking from Harpos' bar towards the church to see her father the reverend Samuel who she haven't spoke or rather HE hasn't spoke to her in years because of her lifestyle, while they entire congregation is singing the same song, he open his arms and welcomes her and eventually forgive her and she say "see, Daddy, sinner have a soul too" very emotional moment.
