I'm thinking of taking a 14 day tour of the country.

I'd go in May. Where are you going? I love Italy and lived in Sicily for 3 years. Are you going to Florence, Firenze? Beautiful city, but then Rome is so amazing too. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!

Hi,,, having been several times before and will again...

I suggest the Spring-Summer or Fall,,,,, the winters are not that good,, I went to the Winter Olympics ,, had a great time,, but then the rest of Italy was not so good to travel....cold and wet....

I like February and March. It's not high tourist season, so things are a little cheaper, and not as crowded. Rome is still pretty warm, and so in Florence. It can get pretty chilly in Venice that time of year, but it's still not to bad. If you plan right, you can catch Carnivale in Venice and Florence. THey're both a lot of fun. If you have to choose one, go with Venice.

Spring or Fall...I wouldn't recommend going in the summer way too hot!!

Summer-Fall
If you're going yo Venice, don't go when it's raining!
That happened to me when I visited Venice!

i suggest you spring or summer fall.

the weather generally is nice and warm from north to south and hotel prices are cheaper!

i wish you to enjoy your stay !

September - not too hot, but still summery.
