Yes. I have been taking birth control for several years now. Because I hate swallowing pills, I never take the placebos and have always been protected. The placebo pills are basically there to keep up the momentum so you don't forget to start up again on Sunday. Unlike the regular pills, the placebos have virtually nothing in them.

no placebo pills are just like sugar pills. Unprotected sex could result in an unwanted pregnancy. Because once I reach my placebo pills my period doesn't come until like 4 days later. So yes it is possible to get pregnant.

yep, if you are taking your birth control every day like you should there will be enough hormones in your body by the time you get to the placebo pills that you wont need any more for that week.

If you take your pills correctly, there is what, about 97% accuracy.... but be cautious all the time. I'm 24 weeks preggers and I took the pills accurately.

Well, that's usually when you get your period--so I would yes, however sperm can live inside your body for like 3-4 days---so I would still be cautious--remember the pill is only like 97% effective.

As long as you take your pills correctly, you are protected. You should ask your doctor or call your local planned parenthood if you have serious questions like this.
