If you don't suck it up and trust someone with your animals, they are going to be DEAD in a week to five days due to lack of food and water.
Don't just think you can leave a week's worth of food and water out for them. Large bowls of water will go stale after a day, making your pets sick. You need to change the water daily; twice a day if it's really hot or if something else falls into the water bowl.
Food will go stale or rot if left out that long. Fresh food should be put out every day. Even if you leave crunchies out for the cats, the lack of variety in the diet could make them sick.
Who is going to clean up after your pets? Are you expecting two cats to cheerfully use the same soaking wet stinky litter box for a week? They won't. After a day or two, they will start messing on the floor, followed by pissing and messing on the furniture to show you how upset they are with you for FAILING to care for them properly.
And the hamsters? Are you going to let them sit around in the same stinky, smelly, wet bedding for a week? They'll be DEAD by the time you get home. Either from the fumes or from disease, or from eating the poop that falls into their water or food dishes.
Leaving your pets alone, with no other human being to take care of them is cruelty to animals, and people who do that, including you should be carted off to jail, and the key thrown away. Obviously you care more about your vacation than about your pets.
Why don't you trust anyone else to take care of them? Are all your friends convicted animal torturers? Looks like their habits are rubbing off on you. Do they hate animals? Add some animal lovers to your circle of friends. Are you just trying to avoid having people see what your house looks like? Get rid of the illegal stuff, take out the trash, and clean up a bit, you slob. Are you a weird-*** psycho? Get yourself admitted to a psychiatric hospital before you do something inappropriate with those hamsters.
Have you checked into professional boarding kennels? For a fee, they will care for your pets at their place, so you don't have to worry about other people in your home.
If you can afford to go on vacation...you can afford to pay for a licensed or bonded pet sitter or a boarding kennel. If you CAN'T afford those things, you have no business going away on vacation in the first place.
PETS ARE NOT TOYS THAT YOU CAN IGNORE WHEN THEY ARE AN INCONVENIENCE TO YOU.
If you cannot give them 110% attention all day every day you are a selfish jerk, who should not have pets.

You need to find a friend or someone to help care for the animals or pay a pet boarding service to do so. Hamsters can be okay for a few days if you give them food and water, but you're going to be gone longer, and your cats certainly can't go that long without some care.

Well, I would still get a friend to make sure they have food and water. That is along time to leave them without anyone around. Just because you have issues with trusting other's to take care of them, you still need to make sure they are ok, by having someone check on them while you are gone.

They really need to be checked on daily. You can hire a pet sitter if you don't have family or friends that can do it. Find a pet sitter that has special pet-sitter's insurance and who has good referances. You can also take them to a vet clinic or boarding facility. They will not be as happy in different place (especially the cats) but they will have daily care by professionals. You can find a hotel that allows pets, but the cats will definitely hate that. It's probably not humane to transport them unless as a last resort. If you live in Wisconsin I could do it...

if you have a friend you trust with your hamsters maybe they can watch them while you are gone if not i would call your vet and see if they board for hamsters it should be really cheap to board so they would not only be well taken care of if anything happened their at a vet, same for the cats if you don't have friends or neighbor who can keep and eye on them board them.

you better get you r neighbor to come in and feed them every day.
Or dont go on vacation.
There has got to be somebody you can have feed them. I would keep them ( the cats ) inside while you are gone though.

You need to learn to trust someone. Your animals are very important , I am sure and if you explain that to someone that is willing to care for them then I am sure they will treat them very well.
