Ha! What an age old question. This one can have a few answers though. If you are God fairing, then yes of course the chicken came first. However, If evolution is the way you would like to view our comming into being (along with the chicken), then yes of course it was the egg (or something like it) that came first. Remember new species or rather evolving species are not just "created" they slowly change over time and they are born from eggs (or live birth), but all started as an egg at some point. Also God could have made fertilized chicken eggs KNOWING that they would hatch into chicks and grow up to be fine looking hens and roosters.

The egg has been around much longer than chickens. For example, dinosaur eggs have been found fossilized proving that the egg came long before the chicken.
Now if you were talking about a chicken egg...
Logically speaking, if a chicken hatches out of an egg, then the egg came first otherwise no chick would have hatched out of it.
In order for the chicken to have come first, it would have had to been born, which everyone knows doesn't happen.

The chicken egg came before the chicken. The egg was laid by a proto-chicken. Evolution took place during the conception of the chicken embryo.

Both. The chicken has eggs in it. Or the egg has a chicken in it. Either way.

Something had to lay the egg. That something would have been a bird that was not quite a chicken, or maybe even a lizzard, but it had a gene that mutated and made up the new type of bird that we know as a chicken.

The chicken. If the egg were made first, then the egg would die because there would be nothing to keep it warm.

egg, b/c the dinosaur egg came b4 chickens. now if you modify the question to say "chicken eggs," i'd say chicken, b/c you need the actual organism before it can reproduce. but i could be wrong; it depends on when you define a chicken as a chicken along hte evolutionary road

I suggest neither. The amoeba came first. Then the chicken was created from the amoeba. Then the chicken hatched the egg, and another chicken was created! (Either that, or Breakfast!)
