Come on you squares lighten up a little!!!!!

Lets see. Acceleration due to gravity is something like:

a = 9.8 m/s2

The Sears tower is 442 metres tall, therefore, the speed at the end of the ride would be 442 • 9.8 = 4331.6 m/s
Which is 4.3316 km/s and 259.896 km/m and 15,593.76 km/h.

HOWEVER, the above reasoning is done WITHOUT the factor of air resistance. The object would have probably reached its terminal velocity before it reached the ground, and therefore, would not be going at about 16 thousand kilometres per hour.

But without air resistance, I would say that if ANYTHING hit you that was going 16 thousand km per hour that it would hurt... Most likely, the poo would only be travelling at 700 km/h or less...

Anyways, the above information is probably completely wrong so just don't pay any attention to it. As far as the poo hurting, I think that it would kill.

I think the terminal velocity of the poo would be around 60mph. So, it would hurt and stun you, but would splatter. It's not hard enough to cave in your head. It wouldn't kill you. Now if corn is involved, some of that may get lodged or in the very least act like a cluster bomb.

FYI - A coin never buried itself in concrete after dropping from a building.

Excellent question!

LMAO... oh boy it never seize to amaze me at the questions asked. Um first off i think the person hit with the poo would be more baffled at why their head is coveredd in poop than how much it hurt. And no i haven't been hit with poo from any distance. If i was they betta prepare for an butt whooping.

Unlikely i believe, extremely gross but unlikely.
Yes there is a myth going around that if you drop a penny off the empire state building it will supposing hit with enough force that it will embed itself into the cement by a few inches (therefore may be able to hurt or even kill someone).

So who watches myth busters? Because they tested this one and i think i remember it being only a few centimetres not inches, so they busted that myth.

It would probably kill them! I know a can of spam from 7 stories up can kill you...we did the calculations in science class. Poo is probably not as heavy as a can of spam, but the Sears tower is so high...

Well think of this....people have dropped a penny off the empire state building. It hit with so much force that it went into the sidewalk a few inches deep. OUCH!

i dont know but thats a good question. I would think it would b/c like if you have a tissue box in the back of a car on the thing in the window the force of a crash can come up and like hit you hard and it would hurt..so yea prolly. where did you think of this?

Depending on the speed of how it falls, I suppose it could if at was really fast. But if not, you would be a very stinky person at least if you got hit by it.

Sure it would hurt, but if you poo'd off the top of Mount Everest, it would go through a Sherman tank.
