coming up in blue? like giggles.jpg but the words are coming up in blue. Most of it is normal (black) but some are coming up in blue. Please help.

Right-click on the file or folder and go to properties. Under the General Tab click on the 'Advanced' button. On the window that pops up you will see an option to compress files to save space.
If that is checked then the files are compressed and they are showing up blue as a way to let the user know it.
Windows will also compress some system files automatically or the disk cleanup wizard will compress files that haven't been used in a while. That could explain why the files were compressed in your situation.

Blue means it has been compressed. Right click on the file and then go to properties. You will want to uncheck the compress option to uncompress it. When you do a disk compression, those compressed files turn blue.

Windows has an option to automatically compress old files in order to save disk space. Compressed files are shown in blue text. You must have that option enabled. If it doesn't bother you, leave them that way.
