three boys all over eighteen beat a dog to death. and the police know but they arent doing anything about it. is there anything i can do to help them get punished for what they did?

The A.S.P.C.A have specially trained officers who make a living and I am sure enjoy helping mistreated animals and strays. Contact them immediately so that they can get an investigation going. The only problem is they might ask you to testify in order to prosecute them. Getting a confession is usually their specialty. With these boys being 18 they are pretty much young men. I am not sure if getting too involved will help a dead dog but you can still call them up and give them a few tips. The problem with getting too involved is you may be putting yourself in harms way as well. I understand that you want to do something but please be smart and speak with an adult as to what is the best thing for you to do. I respect the fact that you want to do something but you must also remember the dog is dead and nothing can bring him back now. You should have made the call while they were committing the crime because it is a crime.

Were you a witness or know someone who was a witness to this horrible crime? If so, then contact the police again. If not, then there's nothing the police can do without a witness. Find out more details from the police if you can. How did you learn about this beating? If you have details that the police can use, please tell them all you know.

You might be able to get your local ASPCA involved. Maybe you should make it really public too...like writing a letter to the newspaper or local news station!
I hope that those boys will get punished...that is just sick to beat a dog!

Take it to the media and tell them who did it and who won't arrest them... Name names! Call the Humane So., the ASPCA, and any other animal rights group and tell them you need help... Not just local, call the main offices... Make formal complaints to the police dept. along with any other dog owners you can get to... Spread the boys names around so thickly with the crime they committed that they can't show their faces w/o shame...

Get as many people as you can to complain. It is well known that most violent and dangerous people started by hurting animals. It is a danger to society to have such violent and heartless people on the streets. As far as I know, that IS a crime in itself and they should at least have to pay for it, though they should be sent to prison for it in my mind. Look around for animal agencies in your area, like the ASPCA or humane societies, and find "people in high places" to help you, like senators, etc. Good luck!

those police officers obviousley dont care, because you can sew somebody for that, put up signs all over your neighborhood, protesting and asking people to help stop animal cruelty, what they did animal cruelty to the third degree, and they should all get arrested for it and put in prison. report them to the ASPCA and they will definetely do something about it. they will arrest them for sure.

call your local animal shelter and if you have proof please show them. animal abuse is a crime and no one should get by with it.there is nothing you can do to set justice if there was i say find someone to whip their *** and ask them how does it feel now punk! I'm sorry to hear this and this is no way for this dog to die and justice will be done believe god doesn't like ugly> Please let us know what happens to these punks good luck

Get ahold of your local SPCA and report this...That is just awful. It seems the police don't really care....Try spca.com for the one close to you....Good luck

I would start a protest or something. That is not right, try to get some help from the local Vets, They will be mad with you.
