Yes, but it's not very practical. Your Internet connection would have to be up all of the time (no dail-up) and it would be your bandwidth the website visitor would use to "see" your site. If you have the typical residential broadband connection, your upload speed (sending data FROM your pc TO the web visitors) is much slower than your download speed (receiving data or page requests FROM your visitor).

If you have much traffic, the visitors will have a less than optimal experience and (unless you have the Brittany home porn video on your website) your website visitors will go elsewhere!

Look for a low-end hosting package by searching for web hosting and you will find many!

I would not recommend this, you will eventually run into problems with your isp, and will need to upgrade to a more expensive service. My recommendation is to go with a third party host> http://www.interkeys.com/tophosts they are only a few bucks a month, well worth it and will avoid the expensive costs involved with doing this on your own from your pc

Possible, but you'd need to set it up as a server and register it. Not worth the problem unless you have a magnificently powered, maximum resource computer.

dont forget the internet connection. Teccion offers free hosting at www.teccion.com ....however you would have to read their terms of service to make sure your site complies with it.
