I want this 'shy' person to chat with me online,but...?

despite all my best efforts, she refuses to talk to me.
Any advice Yahoo! answers community?
("I have mad several attempts to let her know that I want to chat with her"),but she hasn't responded yet....I'm about to give up!
If this sounds like a stupid question..it is,BUT I SERIOUS!

well, i'd get the hint and get outta there for one. there may be just another one that would be interested in your efforts. gawd don't get too crazy over online chat.....and to let you know, outside of those 4 walls you probably have people dying to meet you. anyway, not quite but you know what i'm saying. yes, give up.
