Veteran or not.....Jay Z, overall, is NOT better than 50 Cent. Now LYRICALLY...Jay has 50 no doubt, but people are feeling 50 Cent more (and thats not my opinion....its fact) When 50's Beg For Mercy came out the same day as Jay's The Black Album.......50 crushed dude in sales. In 50's short time in the industry he's already in arms reach of these "veterans" numbers. Just do a lil research.......

Living in a family of six I have heard more 50 cent then jayz. With 4 teenagers I have heard all kinds of music and still listen to there music because they listen to mine when I want to play mine.

That's a question you should already know the answer to...Jay Z hands down. He has more swagger, more style, more finesse, and he has been in the game much longer than 50 cent.
I think some of us are mistaken on your question. Do you mean who is better looking or who's the better rapper? My answer is for who's the better rapper because they are both butt ugly.

jay z is much better he being in the game longer plus he not into that beef **** like 50 he just into making music ant other stuff like cloth; drinks,sport,he is the president of def jam,he owns half of the NJ net,he was going out with beance .

Jay-Z has better lyrical content I can't respect 50 for dogging Ja-Rule for singing but he sings in his songs he's a hypocrite not defending Ja he sucks after his first album
