Respect. With respect you can earn money. Money does not always give you respect look at the Kennedy family do they always get respect? Or George Bush how many people respect him now?

In a relationship DEFINATELY RESPECT!!! No surprise huh? Money isn't that important to me at all. I would rather sit around and do nothing with a guy that respects me that go out and do lots of things like dinner and movies with a guy that's a complete jerk and treats me like crap. I always choose the nice guy.
In the real world... money. You can't survive with out it and you need money to make money.
However I don't agree that you gain respect from having money.

money is necessary, so preference doesn't enter into my seeking it.
i'm not a prostitute, therefore you have my answer. how much respect are we talking? how much money? we probably each have our price, but both are gambled with.
i believe if i default to respecting myself, i will have more ways to pursue my necessities. including money. if i default to pursuing money, i might always be disappointed and discouraged by failure. money can always be taken from me, but my respect is something i must give up. even in death i might maintain it, not so my fortune.
starting from a position of self respect, is therefore the most hopeful and promising choice for me. i have nothing to lose and everything to gain, because it is all up to me to value.

Though both are earned I prefer respect. It is harder to get and easier to lose.
