it sounds to me like you really need to see your OBGYN and find out what is going on with your periods. Since you haven't had your period in five months it sounds like you have some kind of an imbalance of some kind. your doctors will most likely run some tests to find out what is going on or maybe have a sonogram preformed to see if something more invasive is going on. The best thing that you can do at this point is to try not to get to stressed out easier said then done. Good luck to you!

Your body might be overstressed. I was always regular and then I got really stressed with my job, planning my wedding, my sister's wedding, deaths in family....I did not have a period for over a year. After most of my stress was gone, I had a period the week before my wedding. Then I got pregnant on the honeymoon and didn't have another period for another 10 months.....lol

I have had this happen to me occasionally, because of stress, but never 5 months in a row. I would go see a doctor.

Sounds like some kind of hormonal imbalance then. I'd go see a doctor.

Are you maintaining a healthy body weight. It is common for females to lose their period when they enter dangerously low levels of body fat.
