Depends from ones perspective. One person's nectar is another ones poison and vice-versa.

Considering today's moral values, rules, laws and regulations, maybe it is bad, but better not to be judgmental about these things.

Yes, it's bad n hurting! I just can't imagine how hurt I would be if I got polygamied!!

Actually, the reason of polygamy was to help the widow to satisfy their needs. But what happen todays is a man marrying a fresh n beautiful young woman. It's so unfair for the first wife!

Not personally, but it's for each family to decide (and for their society to allow or not). It's a tricky lifestyle, however, because three (or more) definitely is a crowd, and if you think things are complicated with just two people, imagine all the petty jealousies, squabbling, and jockeying for position when there are more (whether multiple wives, multiple husbands, or any combination therein) Since polygamy/polygyny is illegal in the US, I obviously haven't met anyone who is actually MARRIED to more than one spouse, but I know people who practice polyamory -- married to one person, but also carry on other relationships outside the official marriage -- and it works about as often as standard relationships. You still have the same problems and the same challenges, only multiplied by the number of extra people involved. Definitely not the lifestyle for anyone with any jealous tendencies whatsoever -- people don't like to share anything to begin with, and when it's as emotionally close as your own spouse, the situation can get kind of hairy if you're not committed to making it work. So to answer your question, it really depends on who you ask.

Aside from the religious ramifications, I don't know how anyone could have an enjoyable life that way. It seems so difficult, and if children were involved confusing to them especially if they were exposed to a traditional society.

And personally I would imagine a lot of jealousy would be involved. Maybe the first 5-10 years would be enjoyable, but as I got older I would relish just enjoying having my partner all to myself.

Being a woman, I prefer polyandry which has a woman with many husbands running the society. Unfortunately, about the only example of this is in New Guinea although there were some islands in ancient Greece.

Bad? No, not bad... just unappealing to me. It could be bad in terms of STD's... and bad in terms of being hard on the head. Can you imagine having a fight with five boyfriends at once? Nah, one's enough, ah ha.

It's a matter of opinion, and IMHO I don't think it's a good thing. I just wouldn't want to have to share my husband. I like that he loves me and only me and I don't have to give some other woman time with him.
