i'd like to see a moderate republican who is a little better at speaking so that the press doesn't have so much fodder to poke fun at. bush isn't great but he isn't as bad as the press wants us to think either...

i would have to add that if hillary goes for office, the republicans ought to think long and hard about choosing a woman candidate, too....

We need a president who will not be beholden to industries responsible for war and global warming (e.g. oil industries & defense contractors). Al Gore may be the reluctant candidate, but, since he won once already, we may as well actually give him a victory. Global warming is a more serious threat than Osama Bin Ladin or any other like him. Gore is on the case where this is concerned. We deal with oil, and we deal with CO2 emissions. We deal with oil, and we deal with our dependence upon nations who are not friendly to the US.
