Your engine is running rich, too much fuel. If it is only when you have first started the truck it may just be the "Choke" is still closed on a carburetor engine or a sign of engine controls in "open loop" in a later model fuel injected engine.
But, It is fuel.
Oil would be white smoke.

It may mean that your piston rings are leaking some oil into the compression section of the engine.
You can confirm this is the problem by doing the following:
After the truck is warmed up, while driving at normal speed, let up on the accelerator and glide for a few seconds. Then step down on the accelerator. If black smoke also comes out then, you need a ring job before your engine gets worse.

Black smoke would indicate an overly rich fuel mixture due to a leaking fuel injector or other fuel control problem. This is bad for your catalytic converter, so you need to get it fixed.

It is running too rich.
Meaning you have more gas in your mixture of gas and air than you should have.
