I don't believe she is! According to this article, Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American pop and R&B singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress. Her dad was black/Hispanic (she was born Maria Nunez, and you often see her on BET)
Her mom was Caucasian/Irish (hence the appearance).
